Heed this y’all! Worst experience on multiple|Levels. Booked because this hotel has a pool, they verified on phone before I booked for same day I called. Pool is under serious construction and closed so why they weren’t up front about it is crazy.||We took the elevator to our|Floor and it has serious safety issues. Scary ride for all of us. Door|Closes to and at about 3-4 inches before being closed all the way it actually slams shut. I’m once it gets to the floor the door doesn’t open for awhile and then then the elevator|Drops probably 3 inches or so with no warning and then finally the doors open. Rode once and will notGet back in it.||The hotel is|Dingy and dirty in multiple|Places, then the toilet in our room was broken so we had to move rooms. We left for ambit and were thinking about just|Packing up and going somewhere else but we paid over $200 for this hotel and its alot for a hotel like this …you would think your in a motel 6 in the ghettos of CA. |The new room is less|To be desired with much needed repairs in the bathroom. Its gross 🤢 and we are not showering here. ||Oh and Crystal your candid response for all the reviews…do not ise it here. We will not|Come back ever…well|Maybe if Marriott actually|Comes|And has this hotel fixed, management|Trained to care about the facility they manage and a maintenance team which knows how|To actually do|Repairs.

I rarely write reviews as I like to give the property the benefit of the doubt but this one was so bad, I had to say something. I even reached out to the GM Ms Rangle and she said she would give 15k point back but she never did and she hasnt answered my emails after the fact. That is what has prompted this review. My family stayed at the hotel in May 2026 using points. Even though the redemption was very high, we chose it becasue of the location and a pool. We arrived at the hotel and found the pool was out of service and had been for some time. It was not noted on the website. We also found dead bugs all over the carpet and the drain was badly rusted with sharp edges. We also requested housekeeping service in the morning when we left and they confirmed it was scheduled. When we returned later in the evening, it was not done. I went to the front desk and asked. They looked it up and said it had been marked as "done". They asked me if i was sure it wasnt done. I told them the beds werent made and the towels were still on the floor. They said that they would mention it to the GM and get back to us. That never happened. On the positive side, the breakfast was good and the peopler running the breakfast were very firendly in the morning. All in all, the location is good but that is about all I can say about this hotel. There are plenty of other options in the area.

Positive: The beds were comfortable Negative: The key card didn't open the pool every time we went . I was quoted one price then my card was charged almost 100 dollars more.

Staff were polite, rooms were clean, and room amenities were well thought of. The breakfast was good and has a variety of food to choose from. I went with my family, we got a room with a king bed and a double queen room next to each other. It was an overall good resting place for our vacation roadtrip!

I stay at a lot of hotels for business. The amenities could use some touch ups mostly aesthetic. However, the services was impeccable. The staff has been very attentive from the moment I checked in until the moment I left. Breakfast was wonderful. Everything was clean. Staff extremely polite. Coffee 24/7 which is great for early flights. Bed must have been comfortable enough…I fell asleep at 6:00pm and didn’t wake up until 6:00am.

The only plus of this hotel was the staff was very friendly. As for the room, there was dried blood spots on both walls next to the beds. The bathroom tile floor was broken & would lift up, had to put a towel over the tile to not cut myself. There was cars passing with loud music and racing in the area at night. We were given a small discount for the room after I complained to the manager about the condition of the room. This hotel is very high priced for the value & condition of it.

This is one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a hotel. Where do I even begin? First off, for $300 rooms I expect my room to be CLEAN when I get there. We got in very late, go up to our room and there is trash on the floor between the nightstand and bed and toenail clippings on the floor. As if that wasn’t bad enough, when I called to make the reservation I specifically asked if there was a pool, they told me yes, I asked an indoor pool? I was told yes, an indoor pool. We come back from our event to swim, and the pool closed due to construction. I have two kids very upset, and was told we could go swim at the “sister hotel” next door. That part ended up working fine, but irritating. Also, when we came back from our event our key card wouldn’t work, and when I went to get my card activated I was told my reservation was almost canceled because I did a mobile check in and it was late when we finally got here. (That was the point in doing the mobile check in, it was going to be late!!) We traveled 6 hours, with two young kids. If I wouldn’t gotten to our destination (that we’re already over paying for) at midnight and told my room had been canceled I would’ve been HOT! I can’t say enough, do not stay here. The only thing it has going for it, are the beds are comfortable. But that’s hard to enjoy when you’re wondering how well everything has been cleaned. We would not be staying here if Abilene wasn’t sold out this weekend. The true frustrating part is from other reviews we thought we were getting a nice hotel, that’s why I wanted to be sure and write an honest, updated review.||The picture is of our tub, to show how chipped out it is. When you’re paying over $300 a room? I expect the amenities to be in at least decent shape.

This by far the absolute worst stay I’ve had. Not only was this hotel not look how it was advertised it was the lowest in the Marriott chain I’ve been to and Marriott hotels are my choice for all my business trips. Upon my arrival in my room I immediately noticed the cleanliness not up to par, there were flys then as I place my food down I kill a roach. I had been traveling all day so I need rest I go in the restroom and prepare for my shower and another roach runs across the floor now I’m up to two I come out and killed another by my closed food. 28 hrs being up I went and informed the front desk about and no accommodation were offered just notes taking. Once I return from work the next day I asked if anything had been done and the answer of them not attempting to do anything and acting surprised as if I didn’t complain just that night I made my decision I gather my things and left due to lack of care. No refund was offered or anything. Negative 3 star is what I give.
